Stabilizer links are suspension safety components. Incorrect installation can cause handling instability. This procedure should be performed by a qualified workshop technician using a vehicle lift or axle stands.
Stabilizer Link သည် ဘေးကင်းရေးနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သော Suspension Part တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည်။ အတွေ့အကြုံရှိ Technician မှသာ တပ်ဆင်သင့်သည်။

1. Tools & Materials Required လိုအပ်သောကိရိယာများ

2. Removal of Old Stabilizer Link ဟောင်းသော Link ဖြုတ်ယူနည်း

  1. Raise the vehicle safely on a vehicle lift or secure axle stands. Remove the wheel for easier access.
  2. Locate the stabilizer link — it runs from the stabilizer bar down to the strut body or control arm.
  3. Spray penetrating oil on both upper and lower nuts. Wait 5–10 minutes for the oil to penetrate.
  4. Hold the ball joint stud with a hex key (Allen key) through the centre of the nut to prevent spinning.
  5. Loosen the upper nut first (bar side), then the lower nut (strut side).
  6. Remove both nuts and slide the link free. Note the direction of installation.
  7. If ball joint spins freely: use a ball joint separator tool to release the joint.
💡 Corroded Fastener Tip
Myanmar's humidity causes significant corrosion. If nuts cannot be removed, apply heat with a torch to the nut (not the rubber boot area) to break corrosion. Never use an impact gun directly on a spinning ball joint stud — it will damage the thread.

3. Installation of New WPR Stabilizer Link WPR Link အသစ် တပ်ဆင်နည်း

  1. Inspect the stabilizer bar bushings and strut bracket while the link is removed. Replace if cracked.
  2. Clean the ball joint mounting holes at both ends — remove corrosion with a wire brush.
  3. Position the new WPR stabilizer link with the correct orientation.
  4. Insert the ball joint stud into the upper mounting hole (bar bracket). Thread the nut on by hand.
  5. Insert the lower ball joint stud into the strut bracket. Thread the lower nut on by hand.
  6. Tighten the upper nut first, holding the stud with a hex key. Tighten to specified torque.
  7. Tighten the lower nut. Hold stud with hex key if needed.
  8. Repeat on the opposite side.

4. Post-Installation Checks တပ်ဆင်ပြီးနောက် စစ်ဆေးမှုများ

  1. Confirm both nuts are tightened to correct torque.
  2. Check that rubber boots are undamaged and correctly seated.
  3. Lower the vehicle to the ground. Push down on each corner — confirm no clunking from new links.
  4. Test drive at low speed — turn left and right. Confirm no rattling or clunking noise.
  5. Re-check nut torque after 500 km (new links sometimes settle slightly).
✅ Installation Complete
If no noise and all torques confirmed — installation is complete. Recommend customer returns at next service interval for inspection.
