Win Store stands behind every HIFI filter sold. This article outlines the quality assurance standards applied to HIFI filters, the warranty coverage provided, and the process for raising a warranty claim.

1. Quality Assurance Standards

 

HIFI filters are manufactured to OEM factory standards. Each filter in the range is designed to meet or exceed the original equipment specifications for the vehicle application it covers. Win Store selects and imports HIFI filters based on the following quality criteria:

Pressure Differential Flow resistance within OEM-specified range at operating temperature
Burst Pressure Rating Tested to exceed maximum system operating pressure
Sealing & Gasket Compatible with OEM housing geometry; tested for leak-free operation
Dimensional Accuracy Thread pitch, diameter, and body dimensions match OEM specifications
Temperature Resistance Rated for the operating temperature range of the target application

 

All HIFI filters are imported through authorised channels. Win Store does not knowingly stock or sell counterfeit or substandard filtration products.

📘  Note

HIFI filters are aftermarket products, not OEM factory-branded parts. They are engineered to match OEM performance and are suitable for use as replacement parts during normal servicing.

2. Warranty Coverage

 

Win Store provides a limited warranty on all HIFI filters against manufacturing defects under the following terms:

Warranty Period Covers the normal service life interval for the filter type purchased
Who is Covered The original purchasing customer or workshop who purchased from Win Store directly
Remedy Replacement with the same or equivalent HIFI filter code at Win Store discretion
Claim Timeframe Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect
Proof Required Purchase receipt or invoice from Win Store showing the HIFI code purchased

 

A manufacturing defect is defined as a fault in the filter arising from the production process — including but not limited to: a defective gasket seal, collapsed filter media, incorrect thread forming, or structural failure under normal operating conditions.

💡  Tip

Keep your Win Store purchase receipt. It is required for all warranty claims and can also be used to confirm the correct HIFI code if you need to reorder the same filter in the future.

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

 

The following situations are excluded from warranty coverage:

▸  Normal wear during regular service use — filters are consumable items and are expected to be replaced at the recommended service interval.

▸  Damage caused by incorrect installation, including over-tightening, forcing a mismatched filter, or failure to follow the installation guide in H09.

▸  Use of an incorrect filter code — installing a HIFI filter that does not match the vehicle application.

▸  Damage caused by contaminated or low-quality engine oil, fuel, or coolant.

▸  Filters that have been modified, cut, or disassembled after purchase.

▸  Filters used beyond the recommended service interval.

▸  Damage caused by external factors including road debris, accidents, flooding, or fire.

▸  Filters purchased from unauthorised third-party sellers who are not Win Store.

⚠️  Warning

Purchasing HIFI filters from unauthorised resellers or informal market sources (e.g., roadside stalls, unverified online sellers) may result in counterfeit or substandard products. Win Store warranty only applies to filters purchased directly from Win Store or its authorised channels.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

 

1  Stop using the defective filter. If it is an oil filter with a leak, switch off the engine immediately and check oil level.

2  Collect the following information before contacting Win Store: (a) your purchase receipt or invoice showing the HIFI code and purchase date; (b) the HIFI code and lot number printed on the filter; (c) your vehicle details (make, model, year, engine code); (d) a clear description or photograph of the defect.

3  Submit a warranty claim through one of these channels: Zendesk Help Center at support.winautoparts.com (preferred — creates a trackable case), or by contacting the Win Store sales team by phone/Viber.

4  Win Store will assess the claim. We may request the defective filter be returned for inspection. Do not discard the defective filter before your claim is assessed.

5  If the claim is approved, Win Store will arrange a replacement filter. If the exact code is out of stock, we will notify you of the expected restock date or offer an equivalent alternative.

📘  Note

Warranty claims are processed in the order received. Win Store aims to assess all claims within 3 business days of receiving the required information.

5. Authenticity & Counterfeit Protection

 

To ensure you are purchasing genuine HIFI filters from Win Store, observe the following:

Filter Labelling HIFI code and specifications clearly printed on the filter body or label
Gasket Quality Rubber gasket should be uniform, smooth, and free from tears or rough edges
Media Appearance Filter media should appear uniform and undamaged when viewed through the end plate
Retailer Purchased from winautoparts.com or Win Store showroom, or confirmed authorised agent

 

If you have concerns about the authenticity of a HIFI filter you have purchased from Win Store, contact us immediately with the filter code and lot number. We take product integrity seriously and will investigate any reported authenticity concern.

❗  Important

If you suspect you have purchased a counterfeit HIFI filter from any source — including from Win Store — please report it to us immediately. Counterfeit filtration products can cause serious engine damage and represent a safety risk.
