Category: JS Filters — Product Guides | Article: JS-08 | Last Updated: March 2026 | By: Win Auto Parts Technical Team

Overview
This article covers the JS petrol inline filter range — approximately 21 SKUs for carburettor and port-injection petrol vehicles. These are distinct from the SF/KF fuel filters (see JS-06) in that they are simple inline screens rather than pressurized canister-type filters. They are used primarily in older Toyota, Honda, and Mazda petrol vehicles still common in Myanmar.

1. Carburettor vs Fuel Injection

Carburettor (pre-1995)

  • Filter Type: Low-pressure inline screen
  • JS Series: JS Petrol Inline
  • Typical Pressure: 0.2–0.5 bar

Port Injection / EFI (1990–2005)

  • Filter Type: Medium-pressure canister
  • JS Series: SF-Series (JS-06)
  • Typical Pressure: 2–5 bar

Direct Injection / GDI (2005+)

ℹ️ How to Tell Which Filter You Need
If your vehicle has a carburettor (check for a round air filter housing over the engine), use JS petrol inline filters. If your vehicle has EFI/fuel injection , use the SF/KF-Series. When unsure, contact the Win Auto Parts trade desk with your vehicle's year, make, model, and engine code.

2. Replacement Interval

Condition — Recommended Interval
