1. Carburettor vs Fuel Injection

Carburettor (pre-1995)

• Filter Type: Low-pressure inline screen

Port Injection / EFI (1990–2005)

• Filter Type: Medium-pressure canister

Direct Injection / GDI (2005+)

ℹ️ How to Tell Which Filter You Need
If your vehicle has a carburettor (check for a round air filter housing over the engine), use JS petrol inline filters. If your vehicle has EFI/fuel injection , use the SF/KF-Series. Condition — Recommended Interval

Standard (good fuel quality) — 20,000–30,000 km or annually

Myanmar conditions — 10,000–15,000 km or 6–12 months

Signs: rough idle, poor starting, fuel smell — Replace immediately
